Immediate Past President, Carlos Berrocal
Carlos Berrocal got to know Komen through his service on the Jupiter Hospital Board. He was so impressed by the organization’s mission and commitment, that he wanted to be part of the team for the cure. He brings a fresh perspective backed by an impressive history of dedicated community leadership.
He concentrates his practice in corporate and business law, real estate and secured transactions and has served as counsel to various not-for-profit organizations including The Maltz Jupiter Theatre and the Jupiter-Tequesta-Juno Beach Chamber of Commerce.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Mr. Berrocal captained the 1976 Puerto Rican Olympic Swim Team, finishing fourth in his event and missing the bronze medal by 6/100 of a second. He was also NCAA champion in the 100 yard backstroke in 1979.
He was a four-year All American Team member while attending the University of Alabama, and has been inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame and Puerto Rico’s Sports Hall of Fame.
